The Preventive Medicine Clinic (PMC) is a clinic specializing in the care and treatment of people diagnosed as HIV positive. PMC offers confidential education, testing, counseling, primary medical care, treatment and case management. PMC clients know their health depends on their physical condition as well as their mental and emotional health. The PMC helps clients take charge of their lives by promoting and encouraging healthy living through being better informed of advancements in HIV treatment and testing, matching clients with appropriate medications, providing referrals to specialists as needed, and regular consultations. It is the PMC's goal to help clients keep themselves in the best of health by decreasing their HIV viral load, and further slow the spread of HIV and AIDS in Tarrant County. The Preventive Medicine Clinic offers general education presentations on HIV for the general public at no charge. All requests for speaker presentations must be made at a minimum of 30 days prior to the presentation date requested.

   

CLINIC

The Preventive Medicine Clinic is located at the Tarrant County Public Health - Fort Worth - Main Campus  with operating hours from 8 a.m. - noon, and 1 - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday.
