    About Ryan White HIV/AIDS Services

    The Tarrant County Ryan White Program works with Tarrant County and seven surrounding counties (Erath, Hood, Johnson, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somerville and Wise) to provide HIV-related services to more than 3,000 people each year. The program is for those who do not have sufficient health care coverage or financial resources for coping with HIV disease. Ryan White fills gaps in care not covered by insurance. Funds may be used to provide core medical and support services for people living with HIV disease. Tarrant County Transitional Grant Area (TGA) funds services such as:

    • Counseling & Testing
    • Early Intervention Services (EIS)
    • Emergency Financial Assistance (EFA)
    • Food Bank/Congregate & Home-Delivered Meals
    • Heath Education/Risk Reduction (HERR)
    • Health Insurance Premium & Co-Pay Assistance
    • Housing (HOPWA)
    • Local Pharmacy Assistance Program (LPAP)
    • Medical Nutrition Therapy
    • Mental Health Services
    • Oral Health Services
    • Outpatient/Ambulatory Health Services
    • Outreach Services
    • Psychosocial Support Services
    • Referral for Health Care/Support Services (Patient Navigator)
