H/146 Research regarding building Highway 121 across a portion of North Main Street and Samuels Avenue in Fort Worth to connect with existing Highway 121, which would threaten the integrity of a historic 1890-1910 neighborhood.  Tarrant County Historical Commission members Dee Barker and Lela Sandifer conducted research to submit the neighborhood as a historical district to the National Register of Historic Places. Though the nomination was not submitted, the extensive research is valuable.

Tarrant County Historical Commission Marriage Records Project carried out in the 1980's and early 1990’s after the County Clerk deposited old marriage licenses with the TCHC. The TCHC then sent the original copies to patrons for a nominal donation; the project ended so that the original records could remain in the collection. The box contains correspondence and receipts related to the licenses that were mailed.
