Welcome to the Tarrant County Information Technology Department (ITD) web site. Organized into seven organizational units, we enable about 4,000 county employees to meet the needs of Tarrant County residents through the provision of cost-effective product and service technologies that are available 24-hours-per-day, seven-days-a-week and 52-weeks-per-year.
These pages tell the story of how approximately 200 IT professionals regularly collaborate with department heads, elected officials and appointed officials to focus on business needs first and technology second.
