This project will widen Pipeline Road from an undivided four lane road to a divided four lane road between Billie Ruth Lane and Brown Trail/Uptown Boulevards. This widening will include right turn lanes at warranted intersections. This section will be an important east-west route during the reconstruction of the Airport Freeway. The project is being constructed in four phases. The City has completed the first two phases between Billie Ruth Lane and Lorean Branch Bridge. Phase 3 construction for Lorean Branch Bridge eastward to Harrison Lane is expected to begin March 2022 and to end in Fall 2023.
