Summary: Donor is a consultant and antique dealer who has served as City Manager of Fort Worth (1985-1989), President and CEO of the Fort Worth Convention and Visitors Bureau (1989-2006) and Interim President and CEO of the Arlington Convention and Visitors Bureau (2007-2008). Harman has won numerous awards for leadership and service, including the Bob Bolen Award for Outstanding Board Leadership in 2011 and the Cowtown Legend Award presented by Texas Christian University in 2007. He serves on the Tarrant County Historical Commission and has numerous heritage-related boards, committees and foundations. Harman’s collection focuses on early Tarrant County leaders and land owners, including Captain B.B. Paddock and the Boaz family, and the general history of Fort Worth.
