Let's Talk Health (LTH) provides free health literacy classes for adults in our community with Limited English Proficiency (LEP).
These free classes are presented in English, Spanish and Vietnamese by Tarrant County Public Health.
The LTH program also provides professional training for health care staff and college students working with LEP adults.

An LEP individual is a person who does not speak English as
their main language and who has a limited ability to read, speak,
write or understand English.
Health Literacy is
the ability to understand health information, both written and spoken.
LTH offers presentations at local health fairs related to health
insurance, talking with your doctor and other health topics.
