Tarrant County Public Health Reports 10 COVID-19 Deaths

Dec. 9, 2021 - (Tarrant County) - Tarrant County Public Health (TCPH) today reports 10 COVID-19 deaths. The deceased include a woman from Arlington who has exceeded 90, a woman and a man from Fort Worth in their 80s, a woman from Fort Worth in her 70s, two men from Arlington in their 60s, two men from Fort Worth in their 60s, a man from Fort Worth in his 50s, and a woman from Fort Worth in her 30s. All but one had underlying health conditions.

Tarrant County now has 4,943 confirmed deaths from the COVID-19 virus and 363,277 people have recovered.

COVID-19 causes respiratory illness with cough, fever and shortness of breath and may lead to bronchitis and severe pneumonia.
