In October 2009, WIC began offering a new food package based on the
latest nutrition guidelines. This is the first major change to the WIC
food package in about 30 years. The new package offers fruits,
vegetables, whole grains, low-fat milk and baby food in addition to
cereal, eggs, juice, peanut butter and beans. Overall, you will have
more variety to help you make smart choices for you and your
family.

the most important gifts you can give your growing baby.
Tarrant County Public Health provides immunizations at all of our Public Health Centers. All Public Health Centers are open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday-Friday, however, immunization service hours are specifically listed below.
Appointments are not required for immunizations as they are given on a walk-in basis during the times listed for immunization hours. However, if capacity is reached at an earlier time, the immunization registrations will stop for that time period.
Did you know part of Texas WIC's vision is to make referrals to health and human services? Tarrant County WIC has created a local resource guide to help you meet your family's needs. In this guide, you can find information for some of Tarrant County Public Health's programs and services, like Freedom from Smoking or immunizations. But you can also find information about many other programs, including help with food or a health card. Can't find exactly what you're looking for? Check out TarrantCares.org or TarrantCounty211.org
