Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC)

 

The Citizens Advisory Committee was created by Commissioners Court on October 16, 2018, with the purpose of “soliciting input on participation in the Countywide Polling Place Program by organizations or persons who represent the interest of voters.”

The Vote Center selection methodology

This document describes the methodology created by the CAC. The CAC recommended that it be used if:

(1) the county decides to join the Countywide Polling Place Program, AND

(2) under that program the County decides to reduce the number of polling places for election day.

3 VC Review List List of sites that is generated when the recommended methodology is applied to the sites used in the last General Election. It also includes the data collected by the CAC.
