    Chief Deputy

The chief deputy is responsible for and exercises command over the deputies of the departments as delegated to him on the organization chart.  The chief deputy is subordinate in rank only to the constable.  The chief is responsible for administration, command and external relations of the Constable’s Office.  He assists the constable with programs and policies that provide positive influences on this office.  All deputies report directly to the chief deputy. The chief deputy assumes the full authority as the constable while the constable is out of the area.
