Tax Online Wait Times

When Tarrant County Tax Assessor-Collector Wendy Burgess was sworn into office, she promptly went to work improving efficiency and the level of customer service to the citizens of Tarrant County.  Through a collaborative effort with Tarrant County's Information Technology Department and representatives from the customer queuing system, NemoQ, this is now becoming a reality with online wait times.

"Improving services for the citizens of Tarrant County is a priority," said Burgess. "This is one of several initiatives that we are focused on to integrate advanced technology with basic services. This convenient and effective method for citizens to decide the best time for coming into one of our branch locations. It gives citizens choices."

Many citizens have already experienced improved wait times and an enhanced customer experience through the queuing system that has been in place at most branch locations since 2017.  Wait times for each of the seven remote branch locations can now be accessed from electronic devices or home computers through the Tax Office website.  Once the queuing system is launched downtown, this location will also be available on the website.

To find the wait times, visit http://www.tarrantcounty.com/en/tax.html  and click on the "Get Wait Times" button. There are also links on the maps and locations pages. A customized URL to provide quick and easy access to users will be announced on social media outlets as soon as it is available.
