We do not accept cash cards, payroll cards or gift cards.
If you submit a cash card, check card, credit card or gift card for payment, your transaction may not be completed and the amount of the transaction may be held in pending status by your card issuer for several weeks.
If your card is declined through the terminal, your transaction is declined and you will need to contact your card issuer to release the funds. Many card issuers will not release your pending funds for several weeks. A pending transaction will hold your money and will not allow you access to those funds. This is not a Tarrant County Tax Office issue. This is a credit card issue. We do not have your funds and can only provide information to you assist you with the credit card provider.

Online: E-Check, American Express, Visa, Discover, and Mastercard debit and credit cards.
Phone: E-Check, American Express, Visa, Discover, and Mastercard debit and credit cards.
Dropbox: Check only.
Kiosk: E-Check, American Express, Visa, Discover, and Mastercard debit and credit cards.
There is no additional fee to use cash, check or E-check.
The following fees may apply to debit and credit cards by the credit card processing company:
In person: Credit 2.3 percent, with a $2.50 minimum
In person: Debit $2.50
Online or by Phone Credit: 2.15 percent
