The Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) Collection was donated by the Board of the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth, in an effort to preserve various historical items that were in storage at the downtown YMCA building. Many of the items in the collection, especially photographs and historic documents, have been labeled by Art Thompson, President (General Secretary) of the YMCA from 1974 to 1994.
