Summary: Donor is the grandson of one of the founders of Fort Worth Boat Club. Collection contains much correspondence and records concerned with the establishment and continuing events at the FWBC into the early 1980's. There are photographs as well. Donor was also actively involved as a staff member for the planning and execution teams for the Texas Sesquicentennial Celebration. This collection includes memorabilia and records from that period. Quentin McGown has contributed materials to the Fort Worth Boat Club McGown Family Collection.
