Tobacco Prevention for Children

Tobacco Awareness Presentation - aimed at fifth to sixth grade level students but can be adapted for fourth to eighth grade  

Students will learn:

• the chemicals that are in tobacco smoke,
• how tobacco use and secondhand smoke affect the body,
• the hidden messages in tobacco advertising,
• how much tobacco costs long-term and
  
• refusal skills to use when being pressured to use tobacco.
