This morning, I had the opportunity to talk with the members of Mid-Cities Pace Setters Rotary Club. It was a chance to talk about the various services provided by Tarrant County Public Health. What amazed me most were the questions that followed! Questions ranged from nutrition for seniors, restaurant inspections, the importance of measles vaccine, the current listeria outbreak, safe sleep for kids, child abuse, Ebola and more. Their questions told me our community is engaged and wants to learn more about public health.
I invite everyone to reach out to us on Facebook, Twitter, our website, or simply call us on the phone if you want to learn about public health or have a quick question.
If you have a particular need for someone from Public Health to talk to your group about a particular public health topic, we offer a speakers bureau. Please fill out the form below, submit it to us, and someone will be in touch with you about your request.
Have a good weekend and keep safe!
