    Highlights (Jan. 2017 mtg.)

    • Workforce Performance Manager, Donald Fisher welcomed all and provided opening remarks for the January Bi-monthly PM/CQI Committee meeting.
    • Workforce Development Specialist Enny Munoz provided updates and insight regarding the TCPH Learning Management System (LMS) and newly available courses. One of the latest courses is the Fully Functioning performance management System.
    • Performance Improvement Coordinator Doug Bailey briefed the committee on completing the first phase of the Department’s Strategic Planning which has been ongoing since June 2016. He also answered questions about the second phase of the plan and program area metrics development.
    • Program areas provided five minute briefs on their projects, challenges, and where they are in the CQI timeline with regards to completion.
    • Story boards were provided to the program areas for project display, along with dates for the upcoming VMSG Dashboard training.
    • CQI project completion is set for February 28, 2017. All projects seem to be on track to meet the project closeout date.

    The Workforce Performance Management Manager and Performance Improvement Coordinator have been visiting the department’s various program areas and sites in an effort to introduce the new Strategic Plan and Performance Management System to TCPH staff. Briefs have been provided on approved departmental performance metrics and how activities and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are to be developed, along with background information on how all this ties into maintaining accreditation.
