Defendants may be required as a condition of bond to random or weekly drug testing. Defendants will be required to pay $16 for each test administered. If drug testing is a condition of bond, the defendants will be required to submit the initial test within one week of release. A specific date and time will be provided.
If the defendant's initial test is negative, he/she will be placed on random drug testing. If the defendant submits a positive drug test, he/she will be required to test weekly or more often as necessary until a negative test is submitted.
If the defendant is required to drug test and is taking prescribed medication(s), he/she must bring their prescriptions or medications to the Pretrial Services Office in order to make a copy for the defendant file.
PLEASE NOTE: Continued drug use is a violation of release conditions and may result in revocation of the defendant's bond.
