    College Internship Program

    Goal

    To provide Criminal Justice students a means to integrate academic theories and principles with practical job experience by providing a well-rounded view of the field of criminal justice.  Student interns are assigned to a variety of duties within Pretrial Services.

     

    Opportunities

    The Pretrial Services Internship Program is an excellent way to investigate career possibilities and expand your knowledge of different opportunities available within the criminal justice field.  This voluntary internship program, specifically in the area of Pretrial Services:





    • Provides Criminal Justice work experience.
    • Develops contacts and networking opportunities for future employment and references.
    • Increases student marketability for job opportunities.
    • Provides students and recent graduates with the opportunity to work in their chosen field.


    Requirements

    • Criminal Justice Major
    • Junior or Senior Year of Study
    • Basic Computer Skills
