    Fickes re-appointed to state board

    Governor Rick Perry has recently re-appointed Gary Fickes to a third term on the Advisory Board of Economic Development Stakeholders.  The Board assists the Governor's Division of Economic Development and Tourism by collecting and disseminating information on Federal, state, local and private community economic development programs.
    Gary Fickes is a Tarrant County Commissioner and partner of Fickes-Dorety Development.  He is a board member of the Harris Methodist Foundation, an executive board member of the Tarrant Regional Transportation Coalition, a member of the North Central Texas Council of Governments Regional Transportation Council, and a member of the Texas Association of Counties Core Legislative Group.  Fickes received a Bachelor of Science degree from Sam Houston State University and attends White's Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake.  He is reappointed for a term to expire September 1, 2015.
