    Live a more colorful life

    Live a More Colorful Life! is an initiative by Tarrant County Public Health to educate consumers about the benefits of incorporating a wide and colorful array of fruits and vegetables into their daily diets.  This initiative is designed to help reduce the obesity rates in Tarrant County.
     
    On this web page you'll find easy-to-access information, including tips for selecting fresh fruits and vegetables, easy recipes from nutritionists, as well as ongoing features highlighting specific produce that is in-season locally.

    Because there are food deserts located throughout Tarrant County,  Healthy Tarrant County Collaboration has identified the following grocery stores as having healthy food options in those food deserts in east and southeast Fort Worth:

    10.   Zeze's Mart - 5500 Brentwood Stair, #100

    Make it a point to look for fresh fruits, vegetables, and healthier options when at your local grocery store.
