    Give Flu The Boot Banner

Every year, thousands of people are hospitalized with the flu. Over a period of 31 seasons between 1976 and 2007, estimates of flu-associated deaths in the United States range from a low of about 3,000 to a high of about 49,000 people. Flu season typically runs from October through mid-May, peaking in February. A flu shot is still the best protection. Maximum protection occurs about two weeks after the shot.

On this page you will find seasonal flu resources and a toolkit that we hope you find useful.
