    Citizen Prosecutor Academy

    The 2018 Citizen Prosecutor Academy (CPA) is an 11-week program designed to give citizens an in-depth understanding of the criminal justice system in Tarrant County.

    With our Assistant Criminal District Attorneys and Investigators as instructors, participants review each step of the prosecutorial process to gain an insider's perspective on how the system works.

    Beginning March 8, 2018, classes will be held on Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at the Tim Curry Criminal Justice Center.  Graduation will be on Thursday, May 17th.

    Academy attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a tour of the Tarrant County Jail, and observe a criminal trial in progress.
